Celje is a municipality with a strong industrial and craftsmanship heritage, a rich history, and a vibrant cultural scene. At the same time, it is also a city that is resolutely looking ahead: to a future where quality of life, sustainable development, and community cooperation are at the heart of our efforts.
By 2030, we plan to implement a series of strategic investments that follow the five key objectives presented below. Each of them is a response to the challenges of modern times: climate and demographic change, digitalisation, social justice and the need for greater urban resilience.
And this vision does not merely outline the path ahead. It is also an invitation to come together to create a municipality that is even more friendly to those of us who live, create, and grow here; to our space and to those who are yet to come.
